Louise Durack is a dedicated community advocate who has committed herself to defending the rights of her fellow Western Australians.
Louise grew up in and around the Stirling community. She graduated from John XXIII College and went on to complete bachelor degrees in both Social Work and Arts from the University of Western Australia.
As a qualified social worker, Louise has worked in numerous roles assisting families in the northern suburbs of Perth. Her first full-time job was as a Social Worker for Wesley Hearth, a drug and alcohol counselling program for women and children.
She later worked for WOMEN'S Healthworks and as a consultant for the WA Family Pathways Network. Louise's most recent role was as Executive Director of People with Disabilities (WA), a not-for-profit organisation that advocates for people with a disability in WA. Through these roles, Louise has helped support hundred of families through tough times.
