Alannah MacTiernan has already proved she can work hard and make a real difference in government.
As Western Australia's Planning and Infrastructure Minister, Alannah showed what her hard work, determination and strategic thinking can deliver. As a local member and Minister, Alannah brought about major improvements and new investment, jobs and services, in and around Armadale including makeovers of the Armadale city centre and the Kelmscott rail precinct, creation of the Champion Lakes International Regatta Centre, and the establishment of Forrestdale Industrial Park.
She also worked successfully for improvements to local schools, health services, and housing projects. Alannah showed leadership in reshaping planning and to make our city greener and dynamic, a truly 21st Century city.
If elected Alannah will work with the same energy and effectiveness as the Federal member for Canning and a member of Julia Gillard's Government.
