Jordan Crugnale is the 2018 Victorian state election Labor candidate for Bass. She lives in the electorate with her partner and two young sons and has a deep interest in the future of local schools, health and social support services, a robust regional economy, transport links, community facilities and the natural environment. The thread that runs through the whole of Jordan's work life is the drive for social justice, instilled in her from a young age by her Italian migrant parents. Jordan has worked in the mental health, education, aid and arts sectors in Melbourne, Gippsland, the Kimberley and Central America and served four years as a councillor for Bass Coast Shire, including a year as Mayor. She is determined to get the services locals need, protect the resources they have and change for the better the health and wellbeing of the community.
"If we have pockets in our community that are not travelling so well we are not well as a collective. I am standing for Labor because our values align: fairness, opportunity and inclusion. I want to be part of a team that can bring change for the better, this is Labor."
Jordan is being mentored by Lisa Darmanin.
