Donate to Juliana Addison for Wendouree

Juliana Addison is the Labor candidate for Wendouree in the 2018 Victorian State Election. Juliana lives in Ballarat Central with her husband Mike and two school-aged daughters Johanna and Sophia, and their dog Licorice. She has worked as a History Teacher for the last 11 years and I is a Board Director of the Ballarat Health Services. She is passionate about health and education and issues of equality.

Juliana believes that the provision of quality education is the game changer for society. As a schoolteacher, she has witnessed first-hand the transforming power of education and believes that all students can learn and have the potential to progress and achieve. Juliana is committed to the best educational outcomes for all students and believes that more needs to be done to improve teaching and learning in Victoria, including ensuring that every student in the Wendouree electorate has access to the highest quality teaching.

Juliana wants to ensure that everyone in the community has timely access to the high quality health care. Health inequities are the unnecessary, avoidable and create unfair differences in health outcomes. Health inequities result in some people having shorter lives, poorer health and being more likely to suffer from preventable disease and injury. This is a priority issue for Juliana.

"I believe in supporting the most vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community. I am very passionate about equity. We need to ensure that members of our community are not falling through the gaps, particularly in areas of housing, education, employment and healthcare."
