Become involved in your local EMILY's List Action Group

Every state and territory has a local EMILY's List Action Group – a committed group of women volunteers who fundraise for candidates and support them through state, territory and federal election campaigns.

These women join together to organise and run fund and friend raising events in their State, which are always fabulous fun and great opportunities to meet new people, make new contacts and raise much-needed funds for candidates.

Each ELAG has a Convenor and other office-bearing positions.

Members of ELAGs are elected or nominated to EMILY's List's National Committee.

Help us research issues important to women

Are you studying in areas related to gender, politics, philanthropy, community, union or women's organising?

Need a research area to complete your internship or postgraduate requirements?

EMILY's List Australia supports women to combine their professional development with our policy interests by undertaking research consistent with our principles.

Help us win elections

During Federal and State Elections, we need women volunteers who can help us support our endorsed candidates.

This can be done by taking part in our Women Calling Women phonebanks or getting out in an electorate and letterboxing, doorknocking or working in a campaign office.

Help in our office

We are always looking for women who are interested in being a volunteer member of our national office team.

There are a myriad of administrative and campaign tasks which you can help us with.

Email or call us on (03) 8668 8120 to let us know when and how you would like to volunteer.
