Jewellery exhibition fundraiser

We invite you to a special evening for EMILY's List members and friends on Thursday 21st November. Our long-standing supporters of EMILY's List and friends of Joan Kirner, Graham and Glenyys Romanes, are hosting a fundraiser exhibition on behalf of EMILY's List. For 35 years Graham has collected African Trade Beads, the bulk of which are 19th Century Venetian glass beads. Graham will tell the story of the intersection between 19th century Venetian-made beads, their manufacture and trade, and North African culture. On display and for sale will be a collection of millefiori and chevron beads and jewellery created by him over his years of travel and aid and development work. Graham and Glenyys will be donating to EMILY's List 25% of the proceeds from the sale of antique, vintage and contemporary beads and jewellery so it's a great chance to purchase gifts while supporting our organisation. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Date: Thursday 21st November
Time: 7pm
Location: 9/27 Hodgson St, Brunswick (suggest you come to the alternative door at 22 Gray St, Brunswick)
RSVP: email [email protected] or phone 0419 559 138 (for catering and seats)

P.S. If you're not able to join us on the evening, Graham's exhibition and sale will also be on Saturday 23rd November 10am-5pm at the same venue.
