  • First Nations Emily's List Australia Yarning Circle

    • Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 01:00 PM
    • Zoom - link sent with RSVP

Australia needs First Nations women to have their voice heard in Government, policy, and development of legislation to ensure that real change is not just talked about but happens.

Join the FNELA team and the Hon. Linda Burney MP as we talk about encouraging more First Nations women running for positions in Local, State and Federal Government.

The Yarning Circle is designed to share ideas and discussion, to connect and develop a program to provide the training and knowledge required to have confidence to step into these roles. We will be talking about the program we are building to support more First Nations women to take the steps towards positions in government and senior roles with policy and legislation design.

Grab a cuppa, some lunch and join us in conversation as we explore how to build a collaborative program to support and engage First Nations women to make tomorrow better.
