The Pat Giles Award is awarded to a woman who has made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of women in the Western Australian Labor movement.

The 'Don’t Be Too Polite, Girl' Award recognises the potential of a young woman or a woman at the beginning of her career to become a leader in the Labor movement. This award aims to encourage the recipient to continue their work to empower other women.
